Mira Bieler specializes in providing personalized public relations, marketing, branding and event management services to a wide range of food and wine clients nationally and internationally. Based in San Francisco, an epicenter of world-class food and wine, Mira shares with each client 15 years of experience promoting products, brands, companies and people.
Mira began her career in food and wine by working with her family owned Chateau Routas winery in Provence. Today, she, her father and brother run and own the Bieler Family's Bieler Père et Fils Rosé brand. Prior to creating her own firm, Mira worked as a senior associate at Charles Communications and account executive at Paige Poulos Communications, both boutique wine industry public relations agencies. She also was the program coordinator at the American Institute of Wine & Food (AIWF) headquarters, a nonprofit organization, founded by Julia Child and Robert Mondavi, devoted to increasing the understanding of wine and food through educational conferences, seminars, events and publications. She has a transatlantic background and graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in International Relations. She is an outdoor enthusiast and animal advocate.
Following a three year stint counseling teens at Berkeley High School, Roxanne began her wine industry career as tasting coordinator for Wine & Spirits Magazine, where she was quickly schooled in the world of domestic wine. After tasting her way through California, Oregon and Washington, she joined a well-respected San Francisco retailer, where she continues to advise customers on her favorite artisan wines. Roxanne also has a penchant for managing events, participating as a core team member for two consecutive years in Wine & Spirits Magazine's annual Top 100 event.
A native Californian, she brings vibrant energy, a fresh perspective, and an experienced palate to the Bieler Communications team. When she’s not sipping and spitting, Roxanne enjoys coffee, sunshine, good music and even better conversations.
A North Carolina native and graduate of Duke University, Holly was lured west by the dot-com craze and spent three years working for a technology start-up and later at Siebel Systems (now Oracle). A growing interest in food and wine led her to a position in public relations at Calhoun & Company, where she represented several wineries including Hogue Cellars, Rancho Zabaco and DeLoach Vineyards.
In 2005, Holly joined Clos Du Val as director of marketing and was later promoted to vice president of marketing, overseeing all marketing, public relations and direct to consumer sales for the luxury Stags Leap District winery. The entrepreneurial bug struck again, and Holly joined a small team that created and launched Foggy Bridge Winery in San Francisco. Most recently, Holly was part of a core team that produced the Wine & Spirits Magazine Top 100 event in 2009, an annual event celebrating the magazine’s 100 Wineries of the Year.
Holly and her husband Steve reside in Marin County where they share some of their favorite interests – cooking, traveling and spending time outdoors – with their infant twin sons.
